Day 1 / ( Leh )

Arrival in Leh and Acclimatization

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh, one of the world’s highest commercial airports. Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. As Leh is situated at an altitude of over 11,500 ft, the first day is kept free for acclimatization to prevent altitude sickness. Rest in your room and drink plenty of fluids. In the evening, take a light walk around Leh Market and visit the local cafes or simply relax at the hotel to prepare for the journey ahead.

Day 2 / ( Leh )

Leh Local Monastery and Palace Tour

After a hearty breakfast, begin your day with a spiritual and cultural exploration of Leh. Visit Shey Palace, once the summer capital of Ladakh kings. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, known for its stunning location and giant Buddha statue. Head to Hemis Monastery, the largest in Ladakh and a hub of Buddhist learning. Cancellations made 21 days or more before the travel date will incur a cancellation fee of up to 30% of the package amount.
Cancellations made between 15 to 20 days before the start of the tour will attract 50% cancellation charges.
Cancellations within 14 days of departure are subject to 100% cancellation of the package cost.
